The Organization:
For the 2012 season, the Bozeman Stealers Fastpitch Organization anticipates five competitive teams:
* U10 (10 and under)
*two U12 (12 and under)
* U14 (14 and under)
* U16 (16 and under)
The player’s age group is determined by their age as of December 31, 2011.
Board of Directors:
The Bozeman Stealers Fastpitch Organization’s governing body is comprised of a Board of Directors, which includes a President, Treasurer, Secretary, an Age-Group Rep (4) and two at-large members.
The BOD has the final say in all matters pertaining to the Bozeman Stealers Fastpitch Organization.
Mission, Expectations, and Player Development:
As stated in the BSFO mission statement, our players will embody a competitive spirit, which will strive for success. The Bozeman Stealers are not a ‘win-at-all-cost’ organization. However, each player is expected to make a contribution to the program by giving a total effort to their coaches and teammates in practices and games.
Competition does increase as the girls move up in each age division.
Players are to be respectful of others, including teammates, coaches, parents, umpires and opponents.
Our major goal as an organization is to develop players and teach age-specific fundamentals and strategies to help each player reach their fullest potential as they advance within the Bozeman Stealers organization.
At the core of the BSFO beliefs is a love for the game in a fun and safe environment.
